BOOKS of the DEAD PRESS: Weston Kincade – A Life of Death: Episode 1

Here’s the latest thrill ride from my publisher, Books of the Dead Press:

[Weston Kincade’s “A Life of Death”] is a very dark YA story.

Wait a minute… what did I say… a YA story?

Yep. That’s right. There are no bad words in this teenage tale of terror, but trust me, there are bad people.

I’m a huge fan of Robert McCammon. My favorite is Boy’s Life. I’ve read it a number of times and I always think, If this book went on forever, I would read it forever.

That’s the way I feel about Weston Kincade’s A Life of Death. It feels comfortable, like wearing a shirt that fits just right. And the more I read, the more I want to read. It’s hypnotic; the characters are completely believable and very real.

Ever cry while reading a book? You might during this one.

A Life of Death will be released in 12 parts for sure, but Weston is writing as fast as he can and we’re hoping to keep it running longer than that. We’ll be giving away the first four episodes for free. I’m thinking that once people start reading this one, they won’t be able to stop. It’s like crack, people. Awesome, delicious brain-crack that won’t ruin your life.

Here’s the synopsis for Episode 1:

Homicide detective Alex Drummond is confronted with the past through his son’s innocent question. Alex’s tale of his troubled senior year unfolds revealing loss, drunken abuse, and mysterious visions of murder and demonic children. Is he going insane? With the help of his close friend Paige Kurtley, Alex must find the source of his misfortune and ensure his sanity.

And the best part is you can get started for FREE! BOTD is giving away the first four episodes for nothing, nada, zilch, zero, gratis!
