A College Fundraiser for Jessica Ahlquist

As if anyone needed more proof that having belief in gods does not automatically inspire goodness, humility, and human decency, I present exhibit A: By their works you shall know them.

A) Is this Christian Love?

(I picked three, but there are dozens here.)

But, before you feel too bad, let me present Exhibit B: People can be, and ARE good without god.

B) A Fundraiser for Jessica Ahlquist | Friendly Atheist.

Stay strong, Jessica. Your courage is an inspiration.

  1. You are an inspiration, Mr. Adversary. Thanks for posting this.

  2. Wow, this is a bold posting! I am with you in agreement. Just because you have found your “God” doesn’t automatically make you a good decent person. And not having any religion doesn’t make you terrible. A lot of times people are who they are regardless of their faith or beliefs in other worldly entities. Rude, cruel, and mean people are just that with or without their religion. ): It is just a sad sight to see when people express themselves like that. I try and accept everyone for who they are. But alas, I am only human and judgement can creep in there but I do try my best to be a model of tolerance and acceptance. And I am not Christian at all.*shrugs*
